Kruder & Dorfmeister is an Austrian electronic music duo formed by Peter Kruder and Richard Dorfmeister in Vienna in 1993. Known for their downtempo and trip-hop mixes, they have fused genres such as dub, pop, hip-hop, and drum and bass, creating a distinctive sound that has established them as key figures in the international electronic music scene.

Their debut EP, G-Stoned (1993), caught the attention of both critics and audiences, laying the foundation for their unique style. Throughout their career, they have remixed tracks for renowned artists such as Madonna (Nothing Really Matters) and Depeche Mode (Useless), further solidifying their reputation in the music industry. Many of these remixes were compiled in their double album The K&D Sessions (1998), considered a landmark work in the genre.

After a period focused on individual projects—Kruder with Peace Orchestra and Dorfmeister with Tosca—the duo reunited and, in 2020, released the album 1995. This work, composed of previously unreleased material from the mid-90s, was discovered on DAT tapes and captures the essence of their original sound, offering fans a musical time capsule.

With more than three decades in the industry, Kruder & Dorfmeister continue to influence electronic music, remaining active in production and live performances, where their fusion of styles and immersive atmospheres continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
